Egg and Bacon Tart with FAGE Total® 0%

  • 1/2 liters FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 400 grams puff pastry
  • 40 grams flour
  • 150 grams turkey bacon
  • 1/2 red onions
  • 90 grams feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons thyme
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 100 grams dehydrated tomato
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper

  • Cook the sliced onion and diced bacon until the onion caramelizes and the bacon is crispy.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and trim the edges to form an exact square. Cut the square into 4 parts and with the remaining dough, form a border on top of each square; this will serve as walls to contain the filling inside.
  • Prick the center of each square with a fork and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place the crumbled feta cheese on top along with the crispy bacon and caramelized onions.
  • Separate the egg white from the yolk of one of the eggs and mix with the milk. Brush the edges of each square. Bake at 180°C for 12 minutes or until the edges rise.
  • Beat the remaining eggs with FAGE Total® 0% Greek Yogurt, add thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour ¼ of the mixture over each pre-cooked square, place the sun-dried tomatoes on top, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
