Tortillas with Tuna

This dish is perfect for a family breakfast at home. It's not expensive, and the kids love it and will even ask for more. It's also ideal if you want to surprise your partner with an incredible and delicious dish.

  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, green or red
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 dash white wine
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 avocado

  • Prepare a sofrito by sautéing 2 onions, 1 bell pepper, and 1 julienned garlic clove in olive oil. Let it cook until translucent. If needed, add a splash of white wine to prevent it from drying out. Season with salt and pepper, add 1 diced tomato, and 2 cans of tuna. Let it cook for five minutes.
  • Cool for a while, mix with 5 eggs, and prepare the tortilla in a good iron or non-stick pan, heating a drizzle of olive oil and pouring in the mixture. Cover and let cook on low heat until it starts to set.
  • Flip it over using a plate and finish cooking the other side.
