Gyeranmari

Gyeranmari is a type of rolled egg omelet presented in different filling styles and varieties, the most common being nori (toast) seaweed fillings.

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 green bell peppers
  • salt
  • pepper
  • ground oregano
  • sesame oil

  • Chop the carrot and pepper into small cubes.
  • Using 3 eggs for each roll, the eggs are burst in a bowl and beaten.
  • Pour the beaten egg a pinch of ground oregano and one of pepper, salt to taste.
  • Place the finely chopped vegetables on the beaten egg and stir.
  • Put a splash of sesame oil in a hot pan, when hot, empty the mixture and wait for the egg to boil.
  • When the egg is almost cooked it begins to roll with the help of a spatula.
  • The roll is placed on a plate and cut into slices about 1cm and is ready to be enjoyed.
