Gyeranmari

Gyeranmari is a type of rolled egg omelet presented in different styles and varieties of filling, with the most common being nori (toasted seaweed) fillings.

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 green bell peppers
  • salt
  • pepper
  • ground oregano
  • sesame oil

  • Chop the carrot and the bell pepper into small cubes.
  • Using 3 eggs for each roll, crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them.
  • Add a pinch of ground oregano and a pinch of pepper to the beaten eggs, salt to taste.
  • Place the finely chopped vegetables on the beaten eggs and stir.
  • Put a splash of sesame oil in a hot pan, when it’s hot, pour in the mixture and wait for the egg to cook.
  • When the egg is almost cooked, start rolling it with the help of a spatula.
  • Place the roll on a plate and cut into approximately 1cm slices, and it is ready to be enjoyed.
