Tomato and Goat Cheese Quiche

The quiche is a very delicious dish that can be prepared in advance. This quiche recipe contains tomatoes, goat cheese, and spices.

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 500 grams tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped into cubes
  • 150 grams goat cheese
  • 3/4 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 3 tablespoons basil

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the butter piece by piece and combine and knead with your hands.
  • Add cold water as you knead so that the dough doesn't crumble; if you need a little more water, add 1 tablespoon more.
  • In a 20 cm quiche or tart baking dish, spread the dough. Use a brush to paint the dough with the egg yolk. While preparing the filling, refrigerate.
  • Place the oven rack in the lowest position and preheat to 220 degrees Celsius.
  • Take the tomatoes and mix them with all the remaining ingredients, season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the filling to the dough and refrigerate for 5 more minutes. Then bake for 20 minutes or until the quiche looks cooked.
