  • 1/2 kilos corn tortillas
  • vegetable oil
  • 8 tomatillos
  • 8 green chiles
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cooking water
  • epazote
  • 2 cups chicken breast , cooked and shredded
  • panela cheese
  • sour cream
  • onion

  • Heat enough oil in a saucepan and fry the tortilla chips for 5 minutes or until crispy. Place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  • For the sauce: boil the tomatoes, chiles, garlic, onion, and garlic cloves in a saucepan with water for 5 minutes. Let cool and set aside.
  • Heat a little vegetable oil in a saucepan and sauté the sauce for 10 minutes, then add the epazote and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Place the tortilla chips on a plate, drizzle with green sauce, and accompany with cream and cheese.
