Homemade Granola

Granola is an energy-packed breakfast thanks to the oats, nuts, and fruits. This granola recipe will give you the tools to make it at home.

  • 3 cups oats
  • 3/4 cups honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cups sesame seed
  • 1/2 cups raisins, seedless
  • 1/2 cups dried cranberries, or dried cherries
  • 1/2 cups dried apricots

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • In a large deep bowl, mix the honey, butter, and vanilla. Add the oats, nuts, and sesame seeds.
  • Spread the mixture on baking sheets and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool. Return the granola to a large deep bowl and add the dried fruits, mixing well.
