Itabo Flower with Eggs

Delicious traditional dish prepared with itabo flowers and eggs. These flowers come from a plant called yucca. Its flavor is very rich and it is a dish that surely no one has tried at home. Surprise them with this innovative recipe that they will love.

  • 2 cups itabo flower
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoons garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Rinse the flower, pat dry, and be sure to strip off all the seeds.
  • After doing that, place in a pot and cover the flowers with water, bring to a boil until they are soft, but not much like noodles that you were boiling. Once the flowers are boiled, remove them and drain them.
  • In a pan add the oil and put it on the fire to heat, once the oil is hot add the flowers with all the spices and stir the two eggs with the flowers.
  • Finally just make sure the eggs are cooked.
