Delicious traditional dish prepared with itabo flowers and eggs. These flowers come from a plant called yucca. Its flavor is very rich and it is a dish that nobody has tried at home. Surprise them with this innovative recipe that they will love.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cups of spineless or giant yucca flower
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

    Preparation

    Rinse the flower, dry it and make sure to wash all the seeds.
    After doing that place in a pot and cover the flowers with water, put to boil until they are soft. But not much as if they were noodles that were parboiled. Once the flowers are boiled remove them and drain them.
    In a pan add the oil and put it on the fire to heat, once the oil is hot add the flowers with all the spices and stir the two eggs with the flowers.
    Finally just make sure the eggs are cooked.
