Chilaquiles in Grilled Sauce with Egg

  • 1 tub Herdez® roast sauce western region, 320 g
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 cups tortilla chips, fried
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • red onion, sliced, for garnish
  • queso fresco, crumbled, for garnish
  • sour cream, for garnish
  • chorizo, fried, for garnish
  • avocado, for garnish

  • Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat and pour in the Herdez® Grilled Sauce, cream, and chicken broth. Once it starts to boil, cook for about 10 minutes or until a thick sauce is achieved. Adjust seasoning and set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with enough oil and cook the fried eggs to your desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the corn chips in the sauce and serve on a plate, placing the fried egg on top and accompanying with cilantro, red onion, fresh cheese, cream, chorizo, and avocado.
