Chorizo and Potato Gorditas

If you like gorditas and want to give them a different twist, you have to try this recipe; it’s very easy to make and the best part is that it only includes potatoes and chorizo, you will love them, they are ideal for a family breakfast.

500 grams dough, nixtamalized
water
1 chorizo, ranchero
1 potato, cooked and chopped
1 cup tomato purée
Oléico® safflower oil, necessary amount
salt , to taste

We prepare the dough with a little water and salt.
We make balls and flatten them in the tortilla press, we make mini tortillas and cook them; when they puff up, we cut them with a knife to fill them.
Prepare the chorizo with a little Oléico oil and add the cooked potatoes.
Let it cook a bit by adding the tomato puree, the necessary amount.
The gorditas are filled.
