Green chilaquiles recipe

Prepare these crispy and spicy chilaquiles for a family lunch, as it is an easy, quick, and very rewarding option. Additionally, you can serve them with chicken or eggs, along with a glass of Del Valle Frut® Citrus.

  • 8 tomatillos
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 500 grams tortilla chips
  • sour cream

  • onion, in strips

  • Cook the tomatillos, onion, and chilies in a pot with enough water for 5 minutes.
  • Blend the boiled ingredients with the garlic and cilantro until you achieve a smooth texture.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pot, pour in the green sauce, and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Coat the corn tortilla chips with the green sauce.
  • Garnish the green chilaquiles with cheese, cream, and onion. Serve with Del Valle Frut® Citrus and enjoy with your family.
