Bunny-shaped Pancakes

This bunny-shaped pancake idea is super creative and perfect for an Easter breakfast with family this weekend!

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • whipped cream

  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, and egg.
  • Pour the milk mixture into the bowl of flour and stir with a whisk. The batter should have small lumps.
  • Heat a large skillet until it's very hot, then make the pancakes by pouring the batter with a large spoon onto the skillet to the desired size. (If you have a large round cookie cutter, you can use it as a guide to place the batter and form a more perfect circle).
  • Flip them with a spatula when they start to bubble, to cook the other side.
  • Place one pancake on the plate. Take another pancake and use the edge of a large round cookie cutter (or a round bowl) to cut out two ears from the edges. The remaining piece is used as the bowtie of the bunny. Repeat with the rest of the pancakes.
  • Decorate the face with two blueberry eyes, a raspberry nose, and two sliced almond teeth. Decorate the bowtie and the center of the ears with whipped cream.
