Marzipan pancakes

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 8 mazapanes, crumbled
  • butter, for cooking
  • whipped cream, for decorating
  • mazapán, for decorating

  • Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, and milk in a bowl until well combined. Add the melted butter and the marzipan, and incorporate.
  • Heat some butter in a pan over medium heat, add a bit of the pancake mixture, and cook for 3 minutes or until well cooked. Flip and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Serve a stack of marzipan pancakes and decorate with whipped cream and marzipan.
