Tiramisu Hotcakes

  • 2 cups Tres Estrellas® flour for hot cakes
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 cup cream cheese, in medium cubes, at room temperature
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Coffee express
  • cocoa powder, for decoration
  • raspberries, for decoration

  • In a bowl, combine Tres Estrellas® Hotcake Flour, milk, egg, melted butter, and instant coffee. Mix with a hand mixer until lumps are gone and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Heat a bit of butter in a pan over medium heat, pour two ladles of the batter, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface, which means the hotcake is ready. Flip and cook for 5 more minutes.Repeat the same process until you finish all the batter.
  • Cream the cream cheese with a hand mixer and then add the whipped cream and powdered sugar. Mix for 3 minutes and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the maple syrup with the espresso coffee. Set aside.
  • Serve one hotcake, add a bit of cream, place another hotcake on top, and add another layer of cream. Repeat the same process to get another layer and decorate with maple syrup, cream, and cocoa powder.
