Pisca Andina

It is a traditional dish from the Venezuelan Andes that is very important and easy to prepare.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 bunch onion, long
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cookies, soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 grams cheese

  • Put the cup of water in a pot and let it boil
  • Once the water is boiling, add the salt, the bunch of cilantro, the bunch of green onions, and the previously diced potatoes. Let boil for 30 minutes over constant heat.
  • After 10 minutes have passed (and the potatoes are al dente), add the cup of milk and the tablespoon of butter and let boil for 10 more minutes.
  • After another 10 minutes, add salt to taste, the crushed soda crackers, and the eggs. Let cook for 5 minutes, and add a little more cilantro from the bunch.
