It is a traditional dish of the Venezuelan Andes very important and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

5 portions
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 bunch onion, long
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cookies, soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 grams cheese

Preparation

Put in a saucepan the cup of water and let boil
As the water is boiling, put the salt, the bunch of cilantro, the bunch of long onions and the potatoes previously chopped into squares. Let boil 30 minutes over a constant heat.
Once the 10 minutes have passed (and the potatoes are al dente) add the cup of milk and the tablespoon of butter and let boil 10 minutes more.
After another 10 minutes, salt to taste crumbled soda crackers and eggs. Let cook for 5 minutes, and put a little more coriander in the bunch.

PRESENTATION

It can be served in a bowl and garnished with coriander leaves and cubes of white cheese if desired.

TIPS

It is preferable to eat this preparation hot so you can enjoy its combination of ingredients more.
