Quinoa with Milk

Try this rich recipe as breakfast, a good plate of quinoa with milk and mango will give you all the energy necessary to start your active day and with the best attitude.

  • 200 grams quinoa
  • 300 milliliters cow's milk
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 400 milliliters coconut milk
  • 1 mango, diced
  • peppermint, chopped

  • Place the quinoa in a saucepan with the milk, sugar and bring to a boil. Over low heat, leave it for about 10 minutes.
  • Add half the coconut milk and continue simmering until you see that the quinoa is ready and separates from the germ.
  • Remove from heat, add the rest of the coconut milk and stir while cooling. The consistency should be like a creamy milk rice, if you see that you have a bit dry add a little more milk or coconut milk. Your choice.
  • Place the pieces of chopped mango on top. You can also liquefy it and mix it with quinoa with milk.
  • Decorate with mint.
