Quinoa with Milk

Try this delicious recipe for breakfast, a good dish of quinoa with milk and mango will give you all the energy you need to start your active day with the best attitude.

  • 200 grams quinoa
  • 300 milliliters cow's milk 300 milliliters cow's milk
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 400 milliliters coconut milk
  • 1 mango, cut into squares
  • peppermint, chopped

  • Place the quinoa in a saucepan with the milk and sugar, and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Add half of the coconut milk and continue to simmer until you see that the quinoa is ready and separates from the germ.
  • Remove from heat, add the rest of the coconut milk and stir while it cools. The consistency should be like creamy rice pudding; if it seems a bit dry, add a little more milk or coconut milk, as you prefer.
  • Place the chopped mango pieces on top. You can also blend it and mix it with the quinoa with milk.
  • Garnish with mint.
