3/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 stick unsalted butter , melted
3/4 cups whole milk
1 egg
1/4 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups raspberries

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Place muffin liners in a cupcake tray.
In a medium bowl, mix 1 3/4 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, the baking powder, and salt.
Add the melted butter and stir well.
In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla.
Gradually add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until combined (the mixture will be a bit lumpy).
Mix the raspberries with the remaining flour.
Gradually add the raspberries to the batter until well combined.
Fill each muffin liner until they are 3/4 full.
Sprinkle the muffins with the remaining sugar.
Bake for 17-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the muffin comes out clean.
Transfer to a wire rack and let cool for 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
