Spinach, Artichoke, and Cheese Sandwich

The delicious spinach, artichoke, and cheese sandwich is the perfect breakfast to start your day with something tasty, healthy, and very nutritious. The flavor that Oroweat® Whole Wheat Bread adds is spectacular.

  • 12 slices wholemeal Oroweat® bread
  • 300 grams spinach
  • 150 grams canned artichoke heart
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 80 grams cream cheese
  • 60 grams butter
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • In a hot skillet, add the butter and cook the spinach and artichoke hearts. Combine this mixture with the Parmesan cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread butter on one side of the sandwich and place it on the skillet, flipping it when it is golden and cooking the other side.
  • Spread cream cheese on both slices of Oroweat® Whole Wheat Bread.
  • Add the spinach, artichoke, and Parmesan on top of one slice of bread. Cover with another slice of bread.
  • Leave in the skillet until the Parmesan cheese has melted.
  • Cut in half and serve.
