Traditional Omelet

The traditional omelet recipe is a basic recipe that can work in thousands of delicious combinations. I invite you to prepare it and enjoy it as much as I do.

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, finely chopped (parsley, chives, basil)
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Heat the butter in a skillet approximately 20 cm over medium-high heat.
  • While the butter is heating, place the three eggs in a deep bowl and beat with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the eggs into the skillet and reduce to medium heat. Using a spatula, stir the eggs and move the skillet for 1 minute.
  • Allow to cook for 15 to 30 seconds more without stirring so that the edges set.
  • Season with the chopped herbs.
  • Using the spatula, lift the edges and fold one third of the omelet over itself. Place on the serving plate and flip so that it falls in a roll.
