Give your breakfasts a twist with these tricolor hot cakes, which have the special touch of Galletas Marías Gamesa® and your favorite fruits, you'll love their taste!
Blend the Galletas Marías Gamesa® for 3 minutes or until well crushed. Set aside.
Place the egg whites in a bowl and use an electric or hand whisk to beat for 3 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Then, gradually add the sugar while continuing to whisk until well integrated. Finally, add the egg yolks, low-fat milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Gradually incorporate the crushed Galletas Marías Gamesa® and the baking powder. Mix gently until well combined, then add the flour and stir until you obtain a homogeneous and semi-thick mixture.
Divide the hot cake mixture into three equal parts, color one portion with green dye, another with red dye, and leave one portion without dye. Mix well and set aside.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and use a ladle to pour enough mixture with green dye. Cook the hot cake for 3 minutes on each side or until well cooked. Repeat the same procedure until finishing with the red mixture and the natural mixture.
Layer the tricolor hot cakes on a plate, alternating the colors and decorate with red fruits and Galletas Marías Gamesa®.
