Easy Breakfast Waffles, NYT Recipe

This is the best recipe I've tried, the waffles always come out golden and very tasty. They are the perfect option for a delicious breakfast that everyone at home will love.

  • 90 grams butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup plain yogurt, natural Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 4 eggs

  • Melt the butter and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. In another bowl, mix yogurt, milk, melted butter, and eggs. Gradually incorporate the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients.
  • Preheat the waffle maker, apply a light layer of butter. Pour approximately 1/2 cup of batter per waffle, cook until golden. Grease the waffle maker between each waffle. Serve immediately.
