Neapolitan Waffles with Nutella

Waffles for breakfast are always tempting for everyone, so prepare this delicious recipe with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberries. They are very original, and the combination with Nutella® and fruit is a great option for your children's breakfast.

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 100 grams butter, melted
  • 1/4 cups chocolate chips, for the chocolate mixture
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder, for the chocolate mixture
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence, for the vanilla mixture
  • 1/4 cups white chocolate chips, for the vanilla mixture
  • 1 drop food coloring, yellow, for the vanilla mixture
  • 1/4 cups strawberries, diced, for the strawberry mixture
  • 1 drop food coloring, pink, for the strawberry mixture
  • 4 tablespoons Nutella®, (18 g each) to serve

  • For the waffles: In a bowl, mix all the waffle ingredients until obtaining a homogeneous mixture, divide into 3 and set aside.
  • To one of the bowls, add the cocoa powder; to the other, mix the vanilla extract with the yellow dye and white chocolate chips; to the last, mix the strawberries with the pink dye, and set aside.
  • In a greased waffle maker, place the 3 mixtures to form a Neapolitan waffle. Close and cook until fully done.
  • Spread the waffles with a little Nutella® on top, avoiding the edges, and place the fruits of your choice on the side. Serve with a glass of milk and another of juice.
