Pencil Waffle

Treat your family to fun whole grain pencil-shaped waffles, which are perfect for taking to school and serving with oats, strawberries, and Danonino®.

  • 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons stevia
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/8 cups butter, melted
  • butter cooking spray
  • chocolate syrup, for decoration
  • raspberries, for decoration
  • 1/2 cups oats, cooked
  • strawberries, sliced, for serving
  • Danonino®, for serving

  • Use a whisk to mix the flour, baking powder, stevia, egg, whole milk, and melted butter in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Spray a little cooking spray on a waffle maker, pour some of the mixture, covering the bottom of the waffle maker. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown. Remove and cut into rectangles. Then, cut two rectangles into triangles. Set aside.
  • To form the pencil waffle: place a rectangle of waffle in a dish, add a triangle, and at the bottom add 2 to 3 raspberries. Drizzle a little syrup on the tip of the triangle.
  • Serve the pencil-shaped waffles with oats, strawberries, and Danonino®.
