Waffles with Banana Carpaccio

Delicious homemade waffles with banana carpaccio. Serve them with cajeta for a delightful touch.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups lactose-free milk, Lala Extracalcio
  • 100 grams unsalted butter, in bar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 bananas
  • cajeta
  • water
  • 1 leaf spearmint

  • Whisk the eggs until frothy. Add the milk and melted butter.
  • In a bowl, sift the salt, flour, and baking powder. Then, mix them with the egg, milk, and butter. Combine well until you achieve a smooth batter. Set aside.
  • Slice the banana into thin circles (carpaccio style). You can sauté them in a pan with butter and vanilla essence.
  • Mix the cajeta with a little water. You should achieve a slightly thick sauce.
  • Heat a waffle iron. Pour the batter in the center and let it spread to the sides. Repeat the process for each waffle you make.
