Argentinian Choripán

The choripán is a dish that basically consists of a grilled sausage served between two pieces of bread, a typical dish of the cuisine of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and in the Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. Enjoy this easy and delicious recipe!

  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 2 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chile flakes
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • salt

  • 3 Argentinian chorizos
  • 3 pieces of bread
  • potato chips

  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, parsley, chili flakes, oregano, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let it rest for 20 minutes and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil, add the sausages, and cook for 10 minutes or until they are nicely browned. Set aside.
  • On a cutting board, cut the bread making an incision, add the sausage, the chimichurri, and serve.
  • Serve with French fries and light beer.
