Asian Glazed Chops

A very easy recipe for pork chops with a sweet and sour touch.

  • 2 1/2 kilos pork chops
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2/3 cups ginger jam, or apricot jam
  • 1/3 cups honey
  • pepper

  • Cut the chops into individual portions and place in a rectangular roasting dish.
  • In a deep bowl, mix the soy sauce, jam, honey, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the chops.
  • Cover the dish with the chops with aluminum foil and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 1 hour. Remove from the oven, flip the chops, cover again, and cook for 30 more minutes.
  • Remove the chops from the oven and serve on a platter. With a spoon, remove the fat from the sauce and pour the sauce over the chops.
