Beef Filled Bun in Mushroom Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 onions, cut into quarters
  • 500 grams veal, cut into pieces
  • 300 grams button mushrooms, cut in half
  • 1/2 cups white wine
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 Bimbo® artisan buns
  • 6 sprigs basil, for decoration

Low
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, add the onion, the beef, and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the mushrooms and paprika, add the white wine, and let cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add the cream, the mustard, season with thyme, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • On a Bimbo® Artisan Bun place the beef with mushrooms, decorate with a bit of fresh basil.
