Beef Ragù

Delicious and simple beef ragù recipe that you will enjoy on any occasion.

  • 1 kilo ground meat, beef
  • 1/2 kilos white onion, finely chopped
  • 5 sprigs celery, finely chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 ounces olive oil
  • 2 1/2 kilos tomato
  • 1 gram salt
  • 1 gram pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 10 leaves bay

  • Fry the garlic and finely chopped onion in oil.
  • When it starts to brown, add the meat and the rosemary, oregano, bay leaf, and let the meat brown.
  • Add the finely chopped carrot and celery with the wine until reduced.
  • Add the poached tomato, peeled and blended with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for one hour.
