Beef with Nopales

Beef steak in a really simple way, accompanied by nopales that complement its flavor very well.

  • 500 grams beefsteak
  • 10 nopales, large
  • 1 white onion, chopped into small cubes
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • pepper
  • salt

  • Cut the beef steak into strips, clean the nopales and cut them into cubes. Boil the nopales in a pot with water, salt, and a piece of onion. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil, sauté the onion (until it turns transparent), add the nopales and mix.
  • Add the strips of beef and season with a little salt and pepper, cover the skillet and let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
