Put the ground beef and the cooked prosciutto in a mixing bowl. Add the ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything using your hands. Add the grated ginger and mix again.
Form balls with the mixture (slightly larger than a walnut) and dust them with a little flour. Set aside on a platter.
Heat the oil in a pan over high heat and add the meatballs. Fry for 3-4 minutes, turning them over.
Place on absorbent kitchen towels to drain the grease and serve hot with chopsticks.
