Beef Burger with Bacon Jam

You will become a fan of this beef burger with bacon jam, and you will look like a chef in front of your family and friends.   • 500 grams beef, in pieces
  • 350 grams soft beef
  • 150 grams beef knuckle
  • 500 grams bacon
  • 1/2 white onions, sliced
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 4 slices red onion
  • 4 slices red beefsteak tomato
  • 6 Jalapeño chiles, in slices
  • 2 tablespoons mustard

  • Grind the meat gradually in the Braun® processor until you achieve a ground meat texture, not too fine.
  • On a board, shape 2 burgers of 250 grams each, and set aside in the refrigerator.
  • For the bacon jam, place the bacon in a deep skillet, stir with a spatula and cook until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes until it becomes soft, add brown sugar and mix well until it melts. Add the water, the broth, and boil for 5 minutes or until the liquid reduces and thickens.
  • Turn off the heat and transfer to the Braun processor, grind very well until it reaches a jam consistency.
  • In a skillet, add the oil and heat over high heat, season the burgers with salt and pepper and cook both sides for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and set aside.
  • To assemble, spread mayonnaise on the buns, on the bottom bun place the lettuce, the meat, add the jam on top, the onion, the tomato, the jalapeño slices, and mustard; place the top bun and enjoy. Pair with dark beer.
