SuKarne Blue Cheese Stuffed Burger with Caramelized Onion

  • 500 extra-fine ground beef SuKarne®
  • 2 onions, sliced, for the caramelized onion
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, for the caramelized onion
  • 1 teaspoon butter, for the caramelized onion
  • salt
  • sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cups blue cheese
  • olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup spinach, disinfected

  • For the onions: In a large skillet, pour in the oil and butter, let them heat up and add the sliced onions.
  • Move them to coat with oil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir occasionally; the process may take up to 30 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, sprinkle a little salt and a little sugar. Wait until they take on a dark brown color.
  • For the burgers: In a bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and form 8 burgers.
  • Place a tablespoon or 2 of blue cheese on 4 of the burgers and cover with the other 4.
  • Brush the bread with a little oil and grill each side for a few minutes.
  • Serve the burgers with caramelized onions and spinach. Season and serve. You can add more cheese.
