For the onions: In a large skillet, pour in the oil and butter, let them heat up and add the sliced onions. Move them to coat with oil. Reduce the heat to low and stir occasionally; the process may take up to 30 minutes. After 10 minutes, sprinkle a little salt and a little sugar. Wait until they take on a dark brown color. For the burgers: In a bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and form 8 burgers. Place a tablespoon or 2 of blue cheese on 4 of the burgers and cover with the other 4. Brush the bread with a little oil and grill each side for a few minutes. Serve the burgers with caramelized onions and spinach. Season and serve. You can add more cheese.
