Teriyaki Burger with Grilled Onions

  • 300 grams ground beef
  • 300 grams ground meat, lamb
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 10 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon smoked flower of salt Extra Special®
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® canola oil
  • 4 slices pineapple, thick
  • 4 slices red onion, thick
  • 1/2 cups teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® mayonnaise, reduced fat
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 Habanero chiles, grilled
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoons Great Value® plain salt
  • 4 burger buns

  • For the burgers, combine all the ingredients in a bowl until integrated. Form the burgers.
  • Grill the meat with a little oil until cooked or to desired doneness. Set aside.
  • Mix the pineapple and onion rings with the teriyaki sauce. Grill until marked on both sides. Set aside.
  • For the dressing, blend all the ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat the buns on the grill. Assemble the burgers by placing the meat, a slice of pineapple, a ring of red onion, a ring of yellow onion, a bit of avocado dressing, and close with the bun. Serve with more teriyaki sauce if needed. Buy HERE
