This ground beef with pasilla chili recipe is a simple, practical, and very yielding stew, as it will be ready in no time. Best of all, you can enjoy it in tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, and more.
4 pasilla chiles, seedless and veinless, for the sauce
1/4 cups chicken broth
salt, for the sauce
pepper, for the sauce
vegetable oil
1 kilo ground beef
1 1/2 cups potato, in cubes, cooked

Mexican red rice, for serving

Cook the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and pasilla chili in a pot with enough water.
Blend the tomatoes, onion, garlic, chiles, chicken broth, salt, and pepper until you have a sauce. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the ground beef for 3 minutes or until it begins to change color. Add the potatoes, mix, and season with a little salt. Pour in the sauce and cook for 5 more minutes or until the stew is well cooked.
Serve the ground beef with pasilla and accompany with red rice and whole beans.
