  • 1 bolillo roll, in cubes
  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 kilo ground meat
  • 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cups prunes, in halves
  • 1/4 cups almonds
  • 1/4 cups parsley
  • 1/4 cups tomato, finely chopped
  • salad, to accompany

  • Mix the bolillo and milk in a bowl and let it rest for 15 minutes or until the bolillo is soaked. Blend until everything is well ground.
  • In another bowl, mix the ground meat, soaked bread, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, prunes, almonds, parsley, and tomato until perfectly combined.
  • Place the mixture in a previously greased baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and cook at 180 °C for 60 minutes or until the meat is well cooked.
  • Serve the meatloaf and accompany with salad.
