  • For the sauce, blend the onion, garlic, tomatoes, morita chili, and beef broth until fully combined. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan with oil, sauté the onion and garlic until they begin to change color. Add the ground beef, tomato, and cuaresmeño chili. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce using a strainer and stir until incorporated. Add the epazote and nopales; cook for 8 more minutes over medium heat.
  • Serve on a flat plate, garnish with epazote leaves. Accompany with corn tortillas and whole beans.
