Prepare these delicious empanadas filled with ground beef, olives, bell peppers, and potatoes. In a crispy dough, and the best part is that you don't need oil to fry them.
For the filling, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the onion. Add the ground beef and cook for about 5 minutes or until cooked through. Add the tomato puree and mix.
Incorporate the bell pepper, olives, and spices. Cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Cool and set aside.
Fill the empanada discs with the beef filling and brush the edges with egg yolk. Close and brush the outside.
Place the empanadas in the Philips® Airfryer and fry at 390°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Flip the empanadas halfway through the cooking process.
Serve immediately.
