  • 1 kilo ground meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups semolina
  • 2 cups flour
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 1 pinch pepper

  • Boil water in a pot. Slice the bread.
  • In a deep dish, beat the egg, add the semolina, flour, milk (check the thickness; it should be firm), and Royal. Mix this mixture with the meat and bread. Form a ball.
  • Wrap the ball in a clean, thin cloth, tying the ends with a string, leaving the tails. It will look like a gigantic wrapped candy.
  • Place the ball over a pot of boiling water for half an hour on one side and half an hour on the other.
  • After that, unwrap it and serve it in slices, garnished with slices of raw tomato on the sides or with parsley.
