Meatloaf with bacon

  • Preheat the oven to 190° C.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the meat, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper and add the cumin.
  • Cut a sheet of aluminum foil measuring 30 x 30 cm and place it on the table. Lay the bacon slices one after another, place the mixed meat on top, and wrap it with the aluminum foil. Seal the edges like a candy and bake in the oven on a tray for 45 minutes.
  • After the time is up, take it out and check the doneness of the meat; if it is still raw, put it back for another 15 minutes.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 200° C, and remove the aluminum foil from the meat. Return it to the oven and brown the bacon for an additional 5 minutes.
