  • 1 kilo ground beef, for the meat
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the meat
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder, for the meat
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped, for the meat
  • 1 egg, for the meat
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt, for the meat
  • 1/4 teaspoons pepper, for the meat
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, for the meat
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for the sauce
  • 1 onion, in half moons, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups tomato sauce, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mustard, for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder, for the sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth, for the sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups water, for the sauce
  • mashed potatoes, for serving
  • parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until integrated and form the meatballs with your hands. Set aside.
  • For the sauce: melt the butter in a large saucepan and sauté the onion for 5 minutes or until transparent. Add the meatballs and brown them. Remove and set aside.
  • Add the tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and beef broth. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the water with the cornstarch. Add to the previous preparation, add the meatballs, cover, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
  • Serve the meatballs, accompany with mashed potatoes, and garnish with parsley.
