Spaghetti Bolognese Meatballs Wrapped in Bacon

If you like fun snacks, prepare these spectacular and delicious meatballs wrapped in crispy bacon filled with spaghetti Bolognese and delicious melted mozzarella cheese. And to satisfy any cravings, they are topped with a tomato BBQ sauce with a spicy touch of chipotle. Totally Incredible!

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for Bolognese
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped for Bolognese
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped for Bolognese
  • 1/2 kilos ground beef, for Bolognese
  • 2 carrots, peeled, finely chopped for Bolognese
  • 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped for Bolognese
  • 5 tomatoes, poached and chopped for Bolognese
  • 1 cup tomato purée, for Bolognese
  • 1/4 cups red wine, for Bolognese
  • 1/4 cups beef broth, for Bolognese
  • 1 leaf bay, for Bolognese
  • 2 sprigs oregano, for Bolognese
  • salt and pepper, for Bolognese
  • 200 grams spaghetti, cooked and drained

  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, in stick form
  • 1 liter vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups tomato sauce, for the sauce
  • 1 cup chipotle chile, ground for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, for the sauce

  • For the Bolognese sauce, heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil and cook the garlic, onion, and ground meat. Once the meat is cooked, add the carrots, celery, tomato, add the tomato puree, red wine, beef broth, bay leaf, oregano, season with salt and pepper to taste, cook for 20 minutes until the liquid reduces and set aside.
  • For the meatballs, over a small bowl with non-stick plastic wrap, place bacon slices covering with a bit of the cooked pasta and cheese, using the plastic wrap close and form your meatball, repeat the process until you finish all the preparations, set aside.
  • Heat a small pot with oil, fry your meatballs and with the help of your Bounty® paper towel, remove the excess fat. Set aside.
  • Heat a small pot over medium heat with butter, add BBQ sauce, tomato sauce, chipotles, oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Remove and serve with the spaghetti meatballs.
