Mexican Tripe

An easy and classic Mexican dish that you can prepare at home quickly and will delight your whole family.

  • 1/2 kilos beef tripe
  • 60 grams onion
  • 60 grams tomato
  • 30 grams serrano chile, to taste
  • 5 grams epazote, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chicken broth
  • 20 milliliters oil

  • Check if the beef tripe is clean; if not, rinse it and cut it into cubes.
  • Chop the onion and tomato into small cubes.
  • Chop the epazote and chilies finely.
  • In a skillet, add the oil, tripe, onion, and tomato; fry for 10 minutes.
  • Add the chilies, epazote, and broth; cook for 10 more minutes and serve.
