Beef steak in raspberry sauce with chili

  • 2 cups Smucker's® Raspberry Jam
  • 1/2 cups chipotle chile, ground
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1/2 cups red wine
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 beef tenderloin
  • 1/4 cups chile flakes, for the steak
  • salt, for the steak
  • pepper, for the steak
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for searing the meat
  • mashed potatoes, for sides
  • asparagus, oven-baked, for sides
  • 1/4 cups raspberries, for garnish

  • Blend Smucker’s® Raspberry Jam, chipotle chili, garlic, onion, red wine, salt, and pepper. Cook the sauce for 5 minutes and set aside.
  • Brush the steak with the previous preparation, sprinkle with chili flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from heat.
  • Place the steak on a greased baking tray and pour a little of the sauce over it. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 180 °C for 45 minutes or until desired doneness. Cut the steak into medallions.
  • Serve the beef steak on a plate, accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus, pour the sauce, and garnish with raspberries.
