Tongue Tacos

These tongue tacos are so delicious and easy that once you try them, you will love them!

  • 1 beef tongue, well washed
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 bunch aromatic herbs
  • 1 carrot, washed and peeled
  • 2 sprigs celery, well cleaned
  • 1/4 leeks
  • salt, to taste
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • tortillas, taco shell to taste
  • fresh cilantro, washed, disinfected, and chopped to taste
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • limes, to taste

  • Cook the tongue with the following 7 ingredients for about 35 minutes or until it is tender. Once cooked, remove it from the water, clean it, and cut it into slices.
  • Fry it a bit in the hot oil and serve.
