Veal Scaloppine with Lemon

Delicious veal milanese in a lemon sauce that you will love. This recipe originates from Italy and is a total delight.

  • 8 veal milanese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 3 limes, (its juice)
  • 1 orange, (its juice)
  • 1 lime, (its zest)
  • parsley, chopped

  • Mix the flour, salt, and pepper in a deep bowl. Dredge each scaloppine in the mixture and coat, then place on a plate.
  • Heat half of the oil and fry the scaloppine two at a time for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Gradually add the remaining oil.
  • Once all the scaloppine are fried, add the lemon juice, orange juice, and zest. Return the scaloppine to the skillet and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
  • Add a little more flour to the sauce if it is too watery.
  • Serve on a platter and garnish with parsley.
