Bourbon Barbecue Chops

Barbecue chops are a delicious dish to watch a soccer game or for a barbecue. The bourbon barbecue chops recipe is a variation of the traditional recipe with a bourbon whiskey sauce.

  • 1 kilo beef chop
  • 1/4 cups bourbon
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups pineapple juice

  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  • Take the chops and season them with salt and pepper. In two large baking trays, place two aluminum foil trays inside them with the chops and pineapple juice. Bake for 1 hour.
  • While the chops are baking, prepare the charcoal and the sauce.
  • In a deep bowl, mix the bourbon, honey, hoisin sauce, Tabasco, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Remove the chops from the oven and cut each rack in half. Using a brush, coat the chops with the sauce and cook on the grill (barbecue).
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes and flip, re-coat the chops every 3 minutes during cooking.
  • Cook to the desired doneness and serve.
