Barbecue chops are a delicious dish to watch a soccer game or for a barbecue. The bourbon barbecue chops recipe is a variation of the traditional recipe with a bourbon whiskey sauce.
Take the chops and season them with salt and pepper. In two large baking trays, place two aluminum foil trays inside them with the chops and pineapple juice. Bake for 1 hour.
While the chops are baking, prepare the charcoal and the sauce.
In a deep bowl, mix the bourbon, honey, hoisin sauce, Tabasco, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
Remove the chops from the oven and cut each rack in half. Using a brush, coat the chops with the sauce and cook on the grill (barbecue).
Cook for 2-3 minutes and flip, re-coat the chops every 3 minutes during cooking.
Cook to the desired doneness and serve.
