Chicken Curry

Delicious recipe for chicken cut into pieces bathed in a curry sauce. Served with raisins, coconut, and almonds.

  • 5 chicken breasts, in cubes
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 cups chicken bullion
  • 1/4 liters sour cream
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons curry
  • 1/2 limes, juice and zest of its peel
  • almonds
  • raisins
  • coconuts
  • pepper
  • salt

  • Melt the butter and brown the chicken. Once cooked, remove from heat. Melt more butter and sauté the onion. Then add the flour and stir with a whisk. Gradually add the broth, wine, and cream (until achieving a thick sauce)
  • Season with salt, pepper, add the zest and juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/4 teaspoon of curry.
  • Lower the heat, add the chicken and season for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve with basmati rice, raisins, coconut, and almonds.
