Season the breasts with salt and pepper and then dredge them in the flour.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil. When the butter begins to bubble, add the chicken breasts and cook for 3 minutes on each side, remove from the skillet and place on a plate.
In the skillet with the butter, add the lemon juice, capers, and chicken broth. Cook until it starts to boil.
Place the breasts in the sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the sauce and place on a serving platter.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the sauce and whisk well, allowing the sauce to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the breasts and serve.
